A day I swore I'd never see...
I've learned to NEVER say NEVER today.
As I watched my two little cheese balls walk out the front door I couldn't help but think,
" what the heck has my life come to."
It was Friday which meant hometown football game for Grantsville. My kids wanted to be decked out in Black and Red to show their support. As Bubba grinned from ear to ear I could tell his heart was swelling with pride, while mine was sinking with shame.
I was awe struck by the fact that my own flesh and blood weren't in Maroon. I just shook my head and thought,"How did this Happen?"
But against every true Trojan fiber that runs through me, I had to admit they looked pretty darn cute!
Dad was so proud, mom felt a little shame. Life goes on!
Life here is very good and I guess I would be very ungrateful to complain!
And life actually got Better...Bub and I got to trade feelings this weekend when Morgan thumped on Grantsville!! Ha Ha Yep I got a nice little massage out of that bet, just like most years since Bubba Graduated! That's right the rivalry will always live on in this household!
