{Lots of Love}

Having a baby with older kids and a dad who adores his sons has been so much fun. Crew is so spoiled with so many people who can't seem to get enough of him. Everyone wants to feed him, hold him, play with him, he definitely gets lots of Love!

Crew you have such a good Daddy, I hope you're just like him when you grow up!

Today Crew fell asleep on Brecken. She was SO proud and excited, her little face was beaming because she felt like such a good mini Mommy! Crew is such a cuddle bug!

Dance the day away...

Today was a cold day.... I was cooking and Avery was coloring at the counter and Crew was in his bouncer on the counter watching us. The radio was on and we were singing, I was trying to get Crew to laugh so I started busting out some of my moves. Before I knew it Avery was laughing hysterically at my dancing. Okay I'll admit I was going ALL OUT and I'm sure it did look pretty funny, but it actually felt really good! Soon Ave joined me and we danced the coldness away. I never want to see a replay of me dancing, that's for sure. But I had to catch a couple shots of Ave grooving with me.

She even ran out of the kitchen at one point and grabbed her guitar...look out rocker world!

Ave you'll probably never remember this day, but we laughed a lot and danced up a storm. I had so much fun with you today!

Going Back

After four years, I had forgotten how sweet it is to have a little baby around the house. I love seeing his sweet little face each day and watching him discover, learn, and smile. I definitely missed the sweet cooing, the soft skin, and the baby lotion smell.

HOWEVER, I really really really did not miss this...I had also forgotten just how many of these puppies a baby goes through on a daily basis. I honestly feel like this picture sums up my life quite nicely right now! (how sad) But yes he's very worth it!

A Name and a Blessing

Our sweet little boy was given a name and a blessing by his amazing daddy. My heart raced with anxiety that it would all go smoothly and that Crew would be good, and he was. When Bubba came down from the stand to take him from me he was asleep, he was so quiet throughout the blessing that I just figured he was still asleep. But afterward when he was held up I realized his eyes were WIDE open. He was just a sweet little angel who didn't make peep. Bub gave the most beautiful blessing I had every heard. I think by #4 he's pretty much gotten it down, he did a great job!

Crew was even surprised at how wonderful the day went! Ha Ha

We had both sides of the family come over to the house and eat, talk, and laugh. I loved every second of it. My heart was very very very full today!
